Delegates, speakers and guests of the conference discussed the issues and the outlook for Ukraine’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration. Event was held at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and was hosted and organized by Ukrainian Society at Penn.

Chrystia Freeland: Ukraine doesn't get full credit for its democracy

In her speech, she noted that Ukraine is yet to be properly recognized for its recent progress in democratic transformations compared to other countries of former Soviet Union.

Morgan Williams: Ukraine is an Exciting Place to Be, and at an Exciting Time

Attracted by economic boom, many US and foreign investors are flocking to Ukraine and are strongly willing to invest and to produce. However, widespread corruption, inefficient judiciary and local bureaucracies still remain significant obstacles.

Professor Myroslav Popovych: Elites in Ukraine Lack Political Wisdom

During panel discussion, he noted that Ukraine is hardly prepared for reinforced EU integration in political dimension. Not a single political force is transparent and accountable enough to people, to its electorate.
